How do you connect Semca to a device?

Connect to a Modbus server before or after a project is finished. The IP address will be saved together with the project.
Click the Connection client icon to open the Modbus connection window.
Enter the IP address of the server in the Modbus connection window. To find the IP address, try using 'ipconfig' in the cmd prompt or ask your Semca distributor.
Enter the desired port of the Modbus server. The default port is 502. Normally, a change will be only needed when using multiple Semca's connected to the same IP address.
Press 'Connect' to connect to the Modbus server. If the connection succeeds, a connected message will appear in the window.
Press 'Disconnect' to disconnect from the Modbus server.
