What is the design toolbox?

The design toolbox window holds all items which can be placed on the screen. This window is automatically opened whenever the user enters design mode.
- Contains shapes without any action, these shapes cannot be connected to an OPC tag and these cannot be controlled or used in the RecipeWriter.
- Interactive shapes. These shapes cannot be connected to an OPC tag but can perform different kinds of actions.
- Digital devices. These shapes can be connected to an OPC tag and thus can be controlled or used in the RecipeWriter. These shapes represent physical devices in an installation.
- Analog devices. These shapes can be connected to an OPC tag and thus can be controlled or used in the RecipeWriter. These shapes represent physical devices in an installation.
- Non-connectable analog devices. These shapes cannot be connected to an OPC tag. However, they can manipulate a value or be used through the RecipeWriter.
